Heroes Season 3 Countdown *Finale*

Here it is! The moment you've all been waiting for! My pick for the hottest Heroes Hotties in the #1 spot is...

Zachary Quinto

That's right! My #1 isn't a hero at all, but a villian! The First and Worst! Zachary plays Sylar, whose real name is Gabriel Gray, but uses Sylar as his name in honor of his father. He is the sexiest guy on the show, in my opinion! I mean, with a good chest fur like that, how could anyone else be my top choice! Here is a link to his very long and intricate backstory: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sylar !

Tomorrow is THE BIG DAY! So check back either tomorrow night, after all is said and done of course, or on Tuesday for my review and thought of the season opening!

Heroes Season 3 Countdown *Part 4*

Okay. I'm sorry. I've been bad and not keeping up on my posting, but I have good reasons. Really, I do! I've been busy having a life! Hahahah! Anywho, I am really sorry, but I'm here now and I'm getting back on track! Here is the 2nd place spot for Heroes Hotties!

I'm probably shocking have the Heroes fanbase to death by NOT picking Milo Ventimiglia, a.k.a. Peter Petrelli, as #1, but I have my reason! That's not to say that Milo isn't one fine piece of man, but I just don't get quite as much of a rush from him as I do another "Hero". Milo, as I've said, plays Peter, and he is one third of the Heroes "Trinity" if you will. He is also a member of the main family in the show, the Petrelli Family. Let me try to explain the family, or better yet, here is a link that gives a great rundown on it: http://heroes.wikia.com/wiki/Petrelli_family ! Also, and I'm trying to chicken out of doing my whole summary thing, I just want to give better info on the characters past, so here is a link to a page of Peter's history! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Petrelli The previews for season 3 have shown Peter in a very different light, so here's to hoping that he doesn't get the season's subtitle applied to him!

Check back later today, when I'll reveal my #1 pick for my Heroes Hotties!

Heroes Season 3 Countdown! *Part 3*

Okay, so technically I'm a day behind, but who cares, I'm still posting my 3rd Heroes Hotties pick and I can change the rules cause this is MY blog! Ugh, here she, YES SHE, is!

I bet you're all thinking, "OMGOSH! I thought this blogger was a homo! Wha-!" Well, you're right, I am, but I can recognize a fine wo-man when I see one and Ali Larter, who plays/played Niki/Jessica Sanders, the other female lead of the series! Niki and Jessica were twins with a drastically less then perfect homelife, and the deadbeat they had for a father murdered Jessica when the girls were young. However, not before the youngster's powers kicked in, Jessica with Super-Strength and Niki with the ability to "house" Jessica's "soul" in her body! Niki, being the live twin, was in control for the most part, but as the show began, Jessica began to fight her for control of the body. Along the way, Niki met D.L. Hawkins, a phaser played by Leonard Roberts, and had a technopathic child named Micah Sanders, played by Noah Gray-Cabey! The end of season two seemed to spell doom for our heroine, when she rushed into a burning building to save her son and niece-in-law Monica Dawson, played by Dana Davis. However, in the promos shown for season 3, Ali is very much still on the show, but as said in many interviews, she just might not be playing the characters she once was, more likely, someone all new! So, yes, all of you straight nerds get to lust after this toned and fit Geek-Goddess for at least one more season!

Heroes Season 3 Countdown! *Part 2*

So, in keeping with my utter glee for the upcoming premire of Heroes: Villians, I'm posting my Heroes Hotties pick, or picks in this case, in the 4th place spot for the countdown! Today was such a hard choice, that I ended up cheating and having a tie! Here are the 2 picks for the 4th hottest Hotties of Heroes!

Today's 4th spot is shared by two super cuties! First we have David Anders, who plays Adam Monroe, or Takezo Kensei as he was known way, WAY back in the day. He was another of the new characters that was introduced in the second season, only he wasn't at all what he appeared! He was the fabled hero of ancient Japan, and personal hero to Hiro Nakamura, or Masi Oka, as he was growing up. At the end of season one, Hiro teleported back in time and meet, even adventured with, his childhood idol, but it ended with Adam betraying Hiro and having a final standoff with him in the present! I've left so many details out, but as incentive for you to go out and rent, if not BUY, the first and second seasons! We left him in a very open/ended situation in the second season finale, and recent interviews have stated that the character will in fact be returning in the season to come! Oh, and cause I hadn't said it, he's the cutest blonde I've ever laid my eyes on, and not to mention HIS eyes! *gush*gush*

Now on to the other hot mess in the picture, Sendhil Ramamurthy who protrays Mohinder Suresh, one of the leads on the show. He's backstory is intertwined with many other characters, and has a very central role in the show. Along with HRG (*Horn Rimmed Glasses*, or Noah Bennet, adoptive father of Claire! He is played by Jack Coleman!), he is the only other nonpowered lead on the show, well, for now...! I say "for now", because it's been strongly hinted at that he will be gaining powers by artifical means this season! Hope it's true, he freaking deserves it! He's been up against some of the craziest characters on the show, and survived! Anyway, his father was the first to recognize powers and set out to document them, even creating a list of powered individuals! His death happened prior to the beginning of season one, along with Mohinder's sister, who has long thought to have been powered herself and others suspect that she's even still alive! I hope he gets some answers, cause that would mean we get to see him and his dark-skinned goodness! Hm! He is yummy and not to mention one of the few guys I like with longer hair; he just knows how to work it I guess!

Check back tomorrow night, for my pick for hottie #3, and it's going to be a SHOCKER!

Heroes Season 3 Countdown!

In honor of the upcoming season premier of the third season of Heroes, entitled Heroes: Villians, I'm going to post the Top 5 Heroes Hotties, one a day until Sunday, then Monday is the big day!!!!! We begin today, with numero 5!

In the fifth spot, we have one mister Nicholas D'Agosto, who played West Rosen, the high-flying beau of the Heroes star, Hayden Panettiere's character, Claire Bennet. He was one of the new characters of season 2, and was for the most part, well, hated! I personally didn't mind him, first because he was just too cute and somewhat sexy, but also because I like "teen" hero characters in comics and shows alike. He fit my criteria to a Tee! At the end of the second season, Claire and West seemingly broke up, so it remains an open question as to whether or not he'll be making any appearances in the third season. Here's to hoping, though, cause I just can't get enough of his adorable face! GAH!

Check back tomorrow night, when I'll be posting my pick for the 4th Heroes Hotties!

Hottest (Live-Action) DC Hero

So, I was just looking over my posts and realized that I promised to post about the guys I thought were all hot and stuff, but to my astonishment, I haven't! So, to make up for this horrible lack of sexy, I'm bringing out the big guns! I give you Justin Hartley, in his uber~sexy Green Arrow costume from the hit show, Smallville!

I know what your thinking, "OMG! How could a sexy piece of fictional @$$ have gone undetected for so long!?!?" Hahahaahahah! Seriously, he is superfine, so I hope you like what you see, cause I sure do!!!!!

Tina Fey, First Lady of Comedy

This a picture of the opening of the 34th Season Premier of Saterday Night Live, which featured show alumna, Tina Fey impersonating Sarah Palin, and Amy Poehler, current cast member, reprising her Hillary Clinton characature! They are two of the funniest women in the biz, here is the youtube link for the whole deal, hope you enjoy!

P.S. For all my friends, it's going to be seem weird that I didn't make a bigger deal out of posting something that was Tina Fey related, cause it's well known that I love her! Don't fret though, I've got plenty in mind to show my love for her and her hit show 30 Rock! So stay tuned!

Ike and Brandy!

So, what a weekend it's been. As I stated yesterday, I had a rather craptastic night at Stoby's, but what I didn't mention was the storm that was passing through all night! Well, that came back to bite me in the ass, cause not but hours after I blogged, my electricity went out! I didn't even notice until this morning when I was awoke by my severe , sweaty, discomfort! Ugh! So, here I sit at my friend Margaret's house, in her spare room, because according to the Outage Line, it could be days before our service is restored! DAYS! My poor fish don't have days! I don't have days! Ugh! It's so weird and fucked up just how much your life goes out of whack when you're in the dark! It's like you can't even complete the simplest of tasks without it seeming like you're attempting to move mountains! Anyway, all this is thanks to the damn storm that was created by Hurricane Ike, that mo fo! Enough with that douche, onto the Brandy part of my title!

Last week I was on Amazon, putting my Pepsipoints to good use, and I came across this awesome song by Brandy, titled "Right Here (Departed)". At first, it seems like another club song, but when you pay attention to the lyrics, it's more then just a good beat! Brandy, who was famous before I was old enough to give a damn, is really good on this song. I had no idea she was such a good singer, I just remember her teaching my life lessons on Moesha! Ah, those were the days! Anyway, if you want to hear something fresh and empowering, I suggest this tune for all!

Stoby's, you hurt so good!

It's a funny thing, retrospect. It's the type of funny that makes your uncomfortable, but for the life of you, you just can't help but laugh. Well, today I had quite a bit of retrospective when I worked a 5 to close shift at Stoby's. What is this Stoby's, you ask, well it's a black abyss that gladly drains the soul of anyone that is unfortunate enough to work there! Oh, but it's cover is as a restaurant! I started working there the summer between my 11th and 12th years of school. It was my first job. I had been trying all summer to get one, but had no luck, until one fateful day when my Mom used her connections with one of the cooks there to help get me in the door. I was full of glee when I started, and that feeling lasted for some time. Just not forever. See, when you work somewhere for too long, and I think it's true for anyplace really, you begin to become numb. Well, numb isn't the best word, but it's close. It's like you just get into this routine that you aren't even aware of until it's too late. Well, back to my history!

I started as a dishwasher, and was one for about 9 or 10 months I'd say, if not a damn year. It wasn't until I broke my friggin' finger that I was moved over to the window and was made an official carry-out person. That lasted about half a year, when finally I was approached about getting some shifts as a waiter, and I leapt at the opportunity! From there, I worked doing both serving and carry-out until a Management spot opened up that all employees were allowed to interview for. So I took a chance and did it. To everyone's surprise, I got the gig! It was probably the best thing to have happened to me, going from measley dishwasher to an all-mighty Manager! I was proud and ready to go. However, that was when the negative aspects of Stoby's really started to shine.

It was utter chaos, and it still is! I look back and remember having to stay late and come in at times I wasn't even scheduled! It was like I didn't get the power, just the title! If I had known how much harder I would've ended up working, I wouldn't have even bothered with thinking about considering to interview! I guess that just comes with retrospect, the ability to say "What If...?" and wonder what would have come if you had went left instead of right. Everytime I work for someone, all these emotions and memories come flooding back, I don't know why I put myself through it! I lie, cause I do know. It's the people. I love'em, but not all of them, just the ones that were there when I started and have stayed on all this time. They became my friends, through the fights, parties, and all of that, some of them even became more like family. I think that dispite all the anger and hurt that come from working at Stoby's, I'll probably work for as many people as I can, for as long as I can, because that's just how much some of the people of Stoby's mean to me.

Anyway, my rant is done, I don't think that I even made sense, but I just had to get this out or it would be eating at me all night! I guess you could even say, I had to "Blog it Out!" Cliche, I know.

F U Radiology! F! U!

Okay, I know that people probably don't want to hear me witch and moan about my day, but ya know, it's my damn blog and I'm free to post what I wish, how I wish, and when I wish! So, without further delay, let the gripping begin!

As I've posted before, I'm a transporter at the local hospital and I work for Non-Invasive Cardiology and the Cath Labs. I ONLY work for those two departments. However, there are other transporters in the hospital that work for another department, Radiology. While we aren't too close, meaning those transporters and I, we are civil. It's understood that we aren't always going to exchange pleasantries, that there is an obvious tension between us, and that they are all douchebags. Well, on second thought, they aren't ALL douchebags, but the ones that have been there for years and years are! Anywho, today my supervisor let me know that I was going to have to help the Radiology department out, due to them having just one transporter. As soon as I heard her utter the words, I got sick. Literally, my stomach wretched and I began to get upset at the thought of having to work with them. let me explain "Them". It refers to the whole Radiology department as a whole. It has a very bad reputation for being the most negative bunch in the whole hospital! When I started my job, I had already heard about their less then stellar rap, but I didn't want to believe it until I made my own observations. Well, after one day of traning with them, I knew that the rep they had was for good reason and that they lived up to it well!

Anyway, back to this day's events! I went on ahead to the Rad. Dept. and proceeded to assist where needed, but during that time, I never once saw the one transported they supposedly had! Not wanting to stir anything, I ignored that fact. Well, once they said I could go back to my dept., I was out the door and running! After about 20 or so minutes of catching up with my friends in my department, I recieved a call from the Rad. transporter, and he asked me to get a patient that for him. Being nice is what I'm known for, but people say that at times I'm too nice and I'm beginning to think they're right. On my way to Rad. I recieve a call from them asking if I could take a patient back up stairs that I had brought down earlier. Upon arriving in the dept., I notice something. Somthing that almost, ALMOST, brought the wrath of Marcelo upon the whole place. The "something" in question, was the Rad. transported LEANING, F-ING LEANING on the counterspace in the lounge area of the department. I bet I can guess what you're thinking, "Why the hell was he just LEANING when there was a patient that needed to back upstairs? WHY?! THE?! HELL?!" Well, that's what I was thinking, and because I've always believed in trying ot be the bigger person, I didn't confront the pinheaded, douche about it. Instead, I walked pasted him and took the patient back up. If it happens again, I will be letting my supervisor know that I don't feel that they are in need of too much help if they have time to be leaning, but for now I'll just be keeping my mouth shut and not helping them until they ask, and only if they ask nicely!

My Guilty Pleasure

So, I bet you're thinking, "OH! Guilty Pleasure! This is gonna be good!", but really, it's just dorky and a great example of how weird I am! My Guilty Pleasure is that I really, I mean REALLY, like string music! One group in particular, is my favorite act of all time (as far as String...ists[?] go!) and they are the Vitamin String Quartet! They are famous for remaking popular songs, both old and new, so new that they have a string version of Bleeding Love, by Leona Lewis! They are constantly releasing Tributes to different bands and singers, and not only super famous ones either! They have a Tribute to the Vans Warped Tour for goodness sakes! I know that string music really isn't everyones cup of tea, but I hope that you at least give them a try and experience the wonderful music they create!

Favorite Song(s) of the Week

So, I was thinking, what cool thing can I come up with that'll make me have to post and this is what I came up with! I'll try to post about new songs every week, probably on Wednesday, but no promises! Starting out, we have the awesome Jennifer Hudson, singing her debut single, Spotlight! It reminds me of her role on Dreamgirls, but not in a bad, "she just repeating herself" way, it reminded me of why she's a great singer! It has a steady tempo that one could dance to, but it might be better to use as a chillaxing song! It's also very "Sing-A-Long" friendly, which is a bigger deal then you might think! Divas tend to release wildly great songs, but they tend to lend themselves to beign very difficult to sing and keep up with, so you're left humming along and mumbling everyother lyric! I'm ranting now, but I'm sure anyone, if anyone, that is reading, agrees! Here is the link to Amazon.com for anyone who wishes to buy the single for less then a $1 or for 5 PepsiPoints!

Now onto the second selection! For anyone that knew me when the latest season of American Idol was on, this pick will come as a shock, so consider yourself FOREWARNED! The song is David Archuleta, singing Crush! Now, I'm still not a big fan of ole' D. A., but I'll be darned if this song hasn't been in my head for past week solid! It's a pop song, which I know turnes more then half of my friends off, but it's a nice, annoyingly catchy tune that I dare you not to have stuck in your head! I still think he's a freaky looking and damn glad he didn't win the American Idol, but I'm man enough to admit when I like a song, and I'm doing so now! So my hat's off to you, Mr. Archuleta, for making good music! At least his single is easy on the ears, unlike last season's runner-up Blake Lewis...I don't think anymore need be said...or at least I'm not saying anymore! Again, here is the link to Amazon.com to buy the single and browse for more. It's a great website, especially if you have oodles of PepsiPoints that you want to get spend! I may just have to post about the magic that comes from PepsiPoints!

Heroes: Villians

I was just over at my favorite comicbook website, www.comicbookresources.com, and I was reading their currently featured article, an interview with Tim Kring! Ask any geek or nerd who that is and you're in for an ear full! He is, of course, the creator of the best sci-fi show ever!

HEROES

Anywho, it inspired me to make a post! I hope, like anyone's even reading this, that you'll check it out this season if you haven't already! The first season is already on sale and the second will be out by the end of September! Give it a shot, even if you don't usually like sci-fi, cause it's still a great ride and fantastic drama! I leave you with a picture of the cast going into season three!

My X-Men Collage

So, "Hey there, Ho there!" I'm posting my X-Men Collage of all my favorite and the most, if not all, the current X-Men! It took forever to get right, but I'm proud of the results!

Today was an okay day of the same ole' same ole'! I had and Echo done on me, which isn't so bad, but I kept falling asleep! I should probably explain, first off, I work in a hospital as a Transporter in the NIC (Non-Invasive Cardiology) department and the Cath Labs. Well, one of the main things we do in our dept are Echocardiograms, or Echos. It's a very simple procedure which is nothing but an Ultrasound of your chest to check out your heart! It's painless, but messy because of the gel they rub on you! Over the last 2 or so weeks we've had a Medical Student that has been doing something of an "Internship" with us. So he asked if he could practice on me and I said, "Sure"! Anywho, that was my fun for the day!

Talk later peeps!

The First Post

So, yeah, I've started one of these Blopspots before and it didn't work out so well! Anywho, I hope to really keep up with this one and post as much as I can!

FYI: This is just going to be my thoughts and views on things. If you read my Profile, you'll know that I'm an avid comic reader, so don't be surprised if you see a bunch of postings dealing with that! I'm also into guys, (ew, gross, I know, but I can't help it!) so I'm sure I'll be posting such things as who I think is hot and all that jazz!

Just to get things started, above is a picture of Micheal Phelps, my most recent crush!
